Systems that make complex work defensible.

Collatio Labs designs and builds the workflow, data, and AI systems that public agencies and compliance-sensitive organizations use to capture, verify, route, and approve document-heavy work — with a human holding every consequential decision and evidence you can inspect.

EntityCollatio Labs LLC, Portland, Oregon. Registered in SAM.gov; UEI and CAGE furnished on request. PrincipalPrincipal-led and senior-only. The principal brings 19 years of enterprise delivery: AWS strategic accounts, state Medicaid program leadership, global security modernization. CommercialFixed-price milestones priced from a founder-approved rate card. General and excess liability insurance in force; certificate of insurance on request. ProofEvery system on this page was built by Collatio Labs. Any of them can be demonstrated live, on request.

Evidence

Every capability claim on this page is backed by a system we can show you running.

All systems below were built by Collatio Labs; the running ones are operated by us. Every “Verified” line is a Collatio test run or demonstration; any of them can be re-run live, on request.

Running · Procurement document intelligence01

The Machine

The system Collatio runs its own government-contracting pipeline on. AI discovers, classifies, drafts, and checks; a human always clicks submit. It pulls solicitations from the SAM.gov API and 1,200+ public sources, sorts product bids from service bids, drafts against a quality gate, verifies SAM/CAGE/UEI, prices from a founder-approved rate card, and stops at the submit button.

Verified625 test files passed in the full run of 15 Aug 2026 (3,589 tests collected); in production on one PostgreSQL database with 140,000+ records.

Demonstrable · Records · verifiable archives02

Custodia

Decommission a legacy system into an archive that proves itself: an RFC 6962 Merkle-committed store, an Ed25519-signed certificate, and a dependency-free verifier shipped inside every archive.

Verified183 tests passing; an end-to-end run built an archive, verified it, altered one record, and re-verification correctly failed.

Demonstrable · Documents · sealing03

Notis

Document sealing and multi-party signing with tamper detection across SHA-512, SHA3, and BLAKE3.

Verified489 tests passing; a sealed file verified, then failed verification the moment its content changed.

Demonstrable · Storage · verifiable04

Comprimo

Deterministic data reduction with Merkle proofs and audit certificates: reduce storage and prove exact, bit-perfect reconstruction.

Verifiedexact round trip reproduced directly under chaos and load tests.

Running · Security · host observer05

Argus

Local-first host and network observer with a published API contract: process and network forensics, incident timeline, evidence, and a software breaker that stops a system's outside AI and web calls on a high-severity finding.

VerifiedAPI contract published and consumed by The Machine's egress guard; tests pass; running as a read-only host observer.

Demonstrable · AI · agent runtime06

Vera / Anima

A local-model AI agent runtime with a privacy guard that keeps sensitive prompts on local models; state survives process death, learning is verified numerically, three interchangeable model backends.

Verifiedcontinuity, learning, model swap, and privacy routing each demonstrated.

Running = in daily use. Demonstrable = internal demonstration, not customer delivery; shown live on request.

Also built: itsme — live web application with consent, age verification, and geo/IP policy enforcement (live, HTTP 200); Folia — native macOS PDF workspace (SwiftUI, PDFKit; forms, signatures, markup, local OCR); Praeco — introduction marketplace prototype (Flask, Stripe Connect; Next.js rewrite in progress). Demonstration on request. Stack across these systems: Python, Flask, PostgreSQL, SwiftUI, PDFKit; tests, documentation, and handoff-ready repositories.

Approach

Capture the work, automate the repeatable path, keep authority with the business.

01 Intelligence Layer

Capture and structure the work.

Documents, spreadsheets, portals, emails, files, and raw decisions become usable data, review queues, and records tied to their source.

02 Execution Layer

Automate the repeatable path.

Custom tools, dashboards, API handoffs, scripts, and workflow apps move work from manual effort into repeatable infrastructure.

03 Governance Layer

Keep authority with the business.

Approvals, evidence, QA gates, acceptance criteria, risk registers, and human review make automation trustworthy.

Engineering speed with human control.

AI drafts; a person reviews before anything is delivered.
A human always clicks submit, approves spend, and signs off on delivery and on anything said publicly.
We claim only what we can show running. Every system on this page can be demonstrated live, on request.
Systems can be built to keep sensitive prompts on local models and to stop outside AI and web calls automatically on a high-severity finding.

Outcomes

Manual, document-heavy work becomes a system your staff can operate and your auditors can inspect.

Workflow infrastructure

Replace handoffs, email chains, spreadsheet rituals, and unclear ownership with a governed operating flow.

Data and document intelligence

Extract, reconcile, normalize, validate, and package information from PDFs, spreadsheets, portals, APIs, and files.

Governed AI operations

Use AI for analysis, routing, drafting, search, and classification with evidence, approvals, and human review built in.

Leadership dashboards

Give leaders a current view of status, blockers, decisions, risks, approval gates, and evidence.

Who this is for.

Public agencies and their program offices with document-heavy, audit-exposed workflows. Compliance-sensitive organizations in health, finance, and regulated services where every output needs a source. Teams moving from spreadsheets, inboxes, and portals to a governed, repeatable system. Leaders who need a current view of status, blockers, decisions, and risk. Not a fit for vague AI strategy, unsupported claims, or speculative automation.

Services

Six ways to start.

01

Executive systems review

Turn a critical workflow into a scoped operating plan: source material, handoffs, risks, decision gates, technical path, and first sprint.

02

Document intelligence sprint

Extract, clean, validate, and package data from PDFs, spreadsheets, forms, and recurring document workflows.

03

Internal platform build

Create the app, dashboard, status ledger, review queue, or reporting layer that makes ownership, evidence, and next actions visible.

04

Governed AI operations

Use AI for extraction, classification, drafting, search, and routing while a human keeps approval and every output is checked against its source record. AI steps can run on local models so sensitive data does not leave your environment.

05

Data migration and control

Normalize records, reconcile conflicts, move data across tools, and produce reviewable outputs the business can trust.

06

Workflow and API integration

Connect forms, files, email, databases, APIs, and reporting so ownership and status stop disappearing between systems.

Engagement Model

Start with one critical workflow. Prove the operating layer. Expand with discipline.

Good first engagements have an accountable owner, a recurring high-value workflow, usable source material, a clear success definition, and a reason the current process cannot keep scaling.

Engagements are priced from a founder-approved rate card as fixed-price milestones, each accepted against agreed acceptance criteria. You work directly with the principal, and every engagement is built to be handed off: documented and tested code in a handoff-ready repository, with a written handoff at each milestone. Rate card on request.

Trust

Trust is built through proof, control, and clean boundaries.
